Working Groups

To drive our mission forward, several targeted working groups coordinate market transformation efforts that delve into specific market barriers and opportunities for advanced window solutions.

Utility Working Group

This group partners with stakeholders—including the Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC)—to support and create utility programs that inspire the promotion of high-performance windows and window attachment products.

Affordability

The PAWS Affordability Working Group leverages existing resources, strives to increase the accessibility of affordable window upgrades, and coordinates with field research projects to demonstrate the non-energy benefits of advanced windows solutions to help increase housing affordability for lower income families.

Window Performance

This group supports adoption of high-performance windows and window attachments through research and performance analysis.

Commercial Secondary Windows

The PAWS Commercial Secondary Windows Working Group works with utilities, manufacturers, national laboratories, and related industry stakeholders to drive adoption of high-performance commercial window attachment products.

Outreach

The PAWS Outreach Working Group identifies and pursues outreach activities and prepares communications to support the other Working Groups.

Special Projects

This group partners with stakeholders across all building sectors to raise awareness and drive the adoption of high-performance windows by supporting, expanding, and developing education and incentive campaigns.
