Commerical Secondary Windows (CSW) Working Group
The PAWS CSW Working Group works with utilities, manufacturers, national laboratories and related industry stakeholders to drive adoption of high-performance commercial window attachment products. Our scope of work includes product performance and applications research, development of modeling tools and savings calculators, support for product ratings and certifications, and technical support for developing and launching utility incentive programs.
Strategic Goals
The goals of the PAWS CSW Working Group are to:
• Expand market awareness of high performance commercial secondary windows and their performance ratings/certifications.
• Educate the market about products, product performance, energy savings estimates, non-energy benefits, target building types, and available incentives and tax credits.
• Increase the breadth of secondary window products that are rated by the Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC).
• Facilitate the development, launch and expansion of utility-led incentive programs for commercial secondary windows; be a resource for best practices and lessons learned from existing programs.

The PAWS Ratings, Codes & Certifications Working Group partners with stakeholders across window-industry sectors (residential and commercial, new construction, and retrofit) to support and create market transformation opportunities for high-performance primary and attachment window products through engagement in regulatory and certification processes to achieve carbon reduction and net zero energy building goals.
Data And Savings Tools
The PAWS Stakeholder Campaigns & Initiatives Working Group works with stakeholders across window-industry sectors (residential and commercial, new construction, and retrofit) to support and create market transformation opportunities for primary and attachment window products.
Utility Program Support
The PAWS Utility Working Group partners with stakeholders in the utility and window industries to support and create utility programs that inspires consumers, utilities, architects, builders, and manufacturers to promote high performance and attachment window products for residential and commercial, new construction, and retrofit applications.
