PAWS Working Group
Utility Program Collaboration
The PAWS Utility Working Group partners with stakeholders in the utility and window industries to support and create utility programs that inspires consumers, utilities, architects, builders, and manufacturers to promote high performance and attachment window products for residential and commercial, new construction, and retrofit applications.
We work in partnership with the Attachments Energy Rating Council (AERC) which also has a utility workgroup that targets program design for commercial and residential window attachment products.
Strategic Goals
The goals of the Utility Program Collaboration Working Group are to:
- Advise and bring additional value to existing utility programs that target primary windows and attachments by connecting them with manufacturers, creating program resources, and sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Accelerate the number of utilities that offer programs targeting primary and attachment windows by providing data, shared tools, and program resources.
- Provide a forum for utilities to share experiences and lessons learned from implementing primary and attachment window programs.
- Develop go-to informational resources and templates for utilities developing primary window and attachment-related programs.
